WHERE IT ALL BEGAN: THE PROCESS
From our humble beginnings of a handful of women who wanted to help those less fortunate to an international ministry reaching thousands, this grassroots effort is right on time!
Supplying these products, sewn by our groups in the US and Canada, to women and girls in The Majority World has been an ongoing process for several years. And while we understood the reality that we cannot provide supplies for all who need them, our goal has been to equip and empower them to create these supplies for themselves. With that in mind, we embarked on a journey that would lead us to that goal.

2012 - STEP ONE: EDUCATE
To expose the need and mobilize groups in the West to action, sewing groups were initiated and the work began. Within a matter of months, volunteers in more than 20 states began sewing and assembling supplies for the menstrual packets. Thousands of packets were readied for distribution in 2013.
2013 - STEP TWO: DISTRIBUTIONS!
With packets ready for transport, successful distribution to hundreds of young women and girls was held throughout Kenya. We distributed to schools, community centers, health centers and churches. These young women started on a new journey of embracing their womanhood and learning to move forward without the stigma and shame that once held them captive. (Pictures and videos are on our website and Facebook page.)
2014 - STEP THREE: DIALOGUE!
Our successful distribution of menstrual packets in 2013 and the impact it brought those who received them opened the door to the next step of the project. Dialogue with leaders in Kenya’s administration led to an opportunity to create a sewing curriculum that would teach girls to sew their own menstrual packets. Approval was granted, and developing the curriculum began.
2015 - STEP FOUR: IMPLEMENT & LAUNCH
The goal of implementing and launching the curriculum for the 2015 school year began. Each school scheduled and implemented their own readiness and resource schedule. Sewing co-ops and centers were launched to train women in the sewing process, thus empowering them with ownership of the project and allowing us to step away.
2016 - THE TOOLKIT PACKAGE & EMPOWERMENT PACK: TRULY EQUIPPED AND EMPOWERED
The desired end result is to truly “work ourselves out of the picture.” To accomplish even greater impact, we have created a curriculum for OTHERS to implement. The TOOLKIT PACKAGE & EMPOWERMENT PACK enables others to take this system into their "Passion Place" and launch their own mission. Read more on how you can accomplish your own mission!
THE PRESENT: OUR MISSION
Our mission is to HELP and EQUIP you to bring hope and freedom to your Passion Place and people. Reflecting upon the years of experience and thousands of stories from women and girls who have found their freedom, we are confident our tools and your passion are a winning combination to change their world!
