THE BEAUTIFUL WOMAN PROGRAM:
Session 1: The Beautiful Woman ~ It Is Good!  (open to all)
Session 2:   Training of Trainers (Registration and fee required)

I’m in — Now What?
So you’re excited and ready to jump in? That’s great! This project can change lives and empower women around the world. What once held women captive is now the very thing that sets them free!
You’ve heard it said that anything worth doing is worth doing well. This is no exception. Spend time investigating your area, its current practices in regard to sanitary hygiene, the culture, and the taboos. Something this private and intimate will take some time introducing—a strong foundation and relationship is key.
  • Current Market $
  • Early investigation is important when considering this project:
  • What is available in the daily market?
  • How much does product cost?
  • Is it consistently available?
  • Current Customer
  • • Who is your customer?
    • Who will be purchasing the product?
    • What are they able to afford?
    What are they using now?
  •  Are they exposed to the menstrual pad concept/usage?
  • Current Resources
  • What resources and fabrics are available to make the product?
  • Are absorbent fabrics for the LINERS available?
  • What options are there for the moisture resistant barrier that is in the center of the SHIELD?
    Who’s involved?
    • How many Trainees are you planning for your first group?
    • What is your criteria for your Trainees?
    • What will they ‘invest/pledge’ toward their participation?
Session 1: BeauIful Woman ~ It Is Good!
This Session is open to all women and girls. We teach from the Word of God regarding their purpose and value as women which leads to a new understanding to being female. The concept behind the Beautiful Woman - It is Good teaching is simple: Women are good. This is tied to the fact that God Himself declared His creation to be good - very good. Through this teaching, we enlighten and encourage with the truth that God loves women. We empower through dignity and respect. They are fearfully and wonderfully made. We build a sisterhood through our common bond of being women. We pray with them and for them. We conclude with praise and appreciation to God for HE HAS CHOSEN US to be female.

The general attendance is dismissed at the conclusion of Session 1.

Registered Trainees will stay for Session 2: Training of Trainers.

Session 2 Training of Trainers with the EMPOWERMENT PACK
It is in Session 2 that your “trainees become your trainers.” This training empowers women to bring change to their lives and their communities through the production of washable reusable menstrual supplies for themselves, their families and for the open market.
  • There should be 3 hours for Session 2. You determine the fee/contribution from each participant in Session 2 Training of Trainers. Even though your team sponsors the purchase cost of the required EMPOWERMENT PACKS, we strongly suggest that some sort of ‘investment/exchange’ be contributed by the trainees - an important step in taking ownership.  This contribution can be any type of giving as the situation allows: eggs, food, fabric, etc.
  • Sewing knowledge and ability is a must for the training process of sewing the product. Try to have at least 1 machine per six participants - more is better.
Each participant will leave Session 2 Training of Trainers with the basic skills to make her own supplies; the items she completed during the training to use for herself; all items in her EMPOWERMENT PACK which will enable her to continue with this new skill and a deeper understanding of her value as a woman.  She is now equipped and empowered to become a change agent to all around her.
